Pavilion Update;
Unfortunately during the recent cold weather we suffered issues with a water pipe in the Pavilion at the Park and it has caused a lot of damage. We were fortunate that Ian Smith found the leak and stopped the damage being worse than it is. The insurance loss adjuster visited last Friday and we await for the report to be submitted and repairs to be authorised. All ceilings and carpets will need replacing and the building needs drying out. The pavilion will therefore not be available for use for the time being.

With regards to the ongoing planning permission for the extension, we suffered a setback before Christmas. As part of the conditions for planning we were required to carry out a Bat Roost survey. The survey found some evidence of bats activity in the loft and as a result the planning application has been put on hold until a further survey is carried which will not be till around May of this year.

We have managed to extend the timeline for our grant monies with CBC by a further 12 months to work through this issue.

Get back into Cricket sessions and Club Indoor Nets;
We have 2x 'Get back into Cricket' sessions planned at Flitwick Leisure Centre on Sunday 29th January and Sunday 5th February from 6-7.30pm. These sessions are for any Adult (Male and Female) wanting to return to playing cricket or wanting to try out our great summer sport for the first time. Coaching and advice will be given to all those who attend - so please spread the word!
Adult nets will then run during the same times on the following Sundays at Flitwick Leisure Centre - 12th, 19th, 26th February, 5th, 19th and 26th March and 2nd April.
