[b]ECB Cricket ‘All Stars’ at Ampthill [/b] In 2019 a club record 130 youngsters signed up to our ‘All-Stars’ programme. As a club we achieved the 2nd highest attendance in the East of England which saw us sit 23rd out of 1400 clubs nationally. With the hard work of our coaching staff and the positive feedback received from the youngsters and parents, we were only one of two clubs in Bedfordshire was awarded with a 5 star rating. [b]‘All Stars’ is a programme especially designed at attracting new players in school years 1-4 for ages 5-8. For Children aged 8-11 please see our Dynamos Cricket Event which is new to 2020.[/b] [b]The programme includes:[/b] [list] [*]Fun, safe and inclusive activities [*]Develops 9/10 fundamental movement skills [*]Activities designed for maximum participation [*]Personal challenges for children to achieve personal bests [*]Opportunities for parents to be involved in the sessions [*]In 2020, our ‘All Stars’ will run on Friday evenings from 17.30pm and will start on Friday 22nd May for 8 weeks at a cost of £40 (excluding Friday 3rd July). [/list] [list] [*]New ‘All Stars’ receive a ruck sack with a bat, ball, sticker book, cap and T shirt with the child's name on [*]Returning ‘All Stars’ receive a ruck sack, set of stumps, bat, ball and a T shirt with the child's name on [*]All kit will be delivered to your home address [/list] [b]Get Involved[/b] Developing our youth is key to our club and future. However, we urgently need volunteers to help coach our young cricketers. Training is not essential, but ATCC will help fund a qualification if you want to take your coaching further.
